I'm Alex, born in Campina Grande, Paraíba, in the north-east of Brasil. I'm 28 years old, and I have a son of five years old. In Paraíba I was involved with Arts because of the rich traditions of Arts & Crafts they have in the north-east of Brasil. That was what made me interested to learn the techniques of leather art, to show the Brazilian culture trough my art.

Two years ago I moved do Rio de Janeiro, to be able to offer a better future for my son, who's still living with his mum in Paraíba. I worked in Rio for television, theater and the cinema, to produce the settings and decors. I made aswell the setting and clothing for the theatergroup of santa teresa, which was all made of recicled materials.
