In each project the main goal is to exchange ideas, experiences, and skills. It a inspirational environment to learn from each other and to be enriched with personal development. 

RECYCLING
Together with the ‘catadores’ materials are collected in Atelier to be re-used in applied arts. ‘Catadores’ are people that survive in the streets by collecting waste and selling it. Atelier Favela wants to give the ‘Catadores’ the opportunity to create other products out of their collected materials to increase the value. Another benefit from working with recycled materials is that the participants become more consciousness about their environment. 

PAINTING
Through painting, people can express themselves and communicate. A dialogue and understanding between people with different origins can be stimulated in this way. For children from the Favelas, this is a good way to tell their stories, and process the difficult situations at home.

FASHION
Everyone is unique. With the creating or recreating of clothing it will underline this value. Cultural differences are shown in cloths. Again, a way to stimulate the dialogue to understand each others cultures. 

FREE WORKSPACE
Social questions are the main focus here, to create art from personal vision. Personal or commun inititiatives are supported, to exchange ideas and to grow beautiful projects.
