Sabine Harmes – Born in Holland, decided to discover Brazil, and was welcomed with open arms. From nearby, she experienced the hard way of life in the slums of Rio de Janeiro. It was there she discovered her passion to work on creating a better situation in the Favelas, using the arts…and from that Atelier Favela was born. This Art teacher and Industrial designer works together with an inspiring team to accomplish this wonderful initiative ‘Atelier Favela’. It makes her shine.
Anna Dijk – She has experienced Brazil, right now this architect dedicates herself to Atelier Favela in Holland. She has an amazing creative view on the world around us.
Manuelle Felix – Studying at the Art Academy of Rio de Janeiro. She, as a Brazilian, knows how to inspire the people around her and has a great ability as a painter.
Roberto de Santa Martha - This real Brazilian musician, has a wide range of talents, being an excellent dancer he also is a designer. Within Atelier Favela he’s a “jack of all trades.”
Paulo Sérgio da Silva – Through cultural centre João Fernandes, he supports Atelier Favela. He looks after our precious space “o Casarão” where Atelier Favela is located.
