Every bag comes with a cute booklet about the girl who made your bag. The girls (16+) from the slum Fogueteiro get paid for their bags, aswell Atelier Favela gets a part to finance cultural activities for the children.
The paintings we sell are inspired by the work of Atelier Favela in the slums of Rio de Janeiro. They are made by Sabine Harmes and Jean Piña. You can have a look at the paintings at the special blog: http://www.biendesign.blogspot.com/
If you wish to order one or more paintings you can write us an e-mail to biendesign@atelierfavela.org We will start to prepare the shipping. We will inform you about the proces, the time of delivery depends on the location of the painting if it's still in Nicaragua or in the Netherlands and where it should go.

It is also possible to order paintings, you can tell us your whishes. It could be a portret, or a painting a same style you've seen on the blog of Jean and Sabine. This way you can decide the size, or ask for certain colors that combines with your interiordesign. Ofcourse you can contact us by e-mail to let us know about the painting you want. Depending on the size and the amount of work the price will be between the €200,00 and €700,00 Euro. There will be no obligation to buy the painting, if it's not what you expected you are free in your choice.
Like galeries a part of the sum will go to the artist, and a part will be used by Atelier Favela to finance their projects for children disadvetaged by poverty. We are willing to tell you the story behind the artwork.
